Desa's Birthday
I am really getting scared about how fast time is going by. It seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating Desa's birthday and here we are doing it again.
Bob and I decided we needed to get Desa a cheerful spring-like arrangement to celebrate her birthday. The sun was shining, Bob and I had the afternoon off , and we knew just where we wanted to go to find her present.
I knew that sisters extraordinaire Michelle and Kris over at Kar-Fre Flowers in Sycamore would put together exactly what I had in mind.....and they did!!

I love their work. I am a big fan of the beautiful flower filled pumpkins they do in the fall. They have been loyal customers of our shops for years and it was such a pleasure for me to get an afternoon off to stop in and visit their shop and leave with such a pretty bouquet for Desa. Thanks Michelle and Kris!
I got lucky and both sisters were in so I got to chat with them for a moment. Of course, being a part of one.... I have a fondness for sister teams already. Squabbles and pms aside, there is no one who will watch your back more than a sister!
Desa is like family to me and Bob. If we could....we'd deliver her a bouquet of flowers every day. Having her in our work and personal life is one of our greatest blessings. Happy Birthday Desa.
I saw these in person and they were BEAUTIFUL!!! Michelle and Kris did a great job. Aren't sister teams the best?....

you two are too cute for your own good. happy belated birthday desa. sorry i missed it. if you'd just let courtney put it on the calendar i wouldn't have this problem. michelle and kris are great. former employers. i must have a "thing" for sister teams. i sound like a dirty old man. actually i sound like pec. don't tell him i said that.

oh...it's my desa! we have been friends for a long, long, time. i have little Christmas "favors" that she used to give at her wonderful store. miss you so much. happy belated birthday. hope to get to come and visit sometime in the not-too-distant future. love,
