Meet Abbie

She was kind enough to drop off this fun picture for us to add to our moxie album.  Here she is looking super stylish and all decked out in moxie vintage accessories.  Abbie found the shoes, gloves, and purse upstairs in Moxie's vintage section.  Abbie and her mom and sisters honor us often with visits and we always love seeing them.  

When I look at this photo I first  think to myself.....Abbie you're a knock-out!  Then I think to myself .......I used to be able to wear killer heels like that.....what happened??  Oh to be young and have a high tolerance for foot pain again!

Meet Jill & Her Friend Ann

 

Jill (our last giveaway winner & super nice blog buddy extraordinaire) was kind enough to send me this fun photo.  Her friend Ann (in the purple and orange on the right) hosts an annual Halloween party and this years theme was.........you guessed it.....The 70's!

Jill found both of those 70's clothing gems at moxie.  She shared one of them with her friend Ann who was dressed as Mrs Roper.  I think you both looked fabulous and I'm sure you had Starsky and Hutch hitting on you all night.

Thanks Jill and Ann for sharing your picture with us.  I love seeing our shop goodies in action.  I welcome any of you out there to send me a picture of something you got  from one of the shops that shows how you are using it.  Show and tell is fun.

3 more days til Halloween.  There is still time to pop into moxie and whip up your own creative costume.  Thursdays we are open until 8 pm.

Niza, you are gorgeous...but then I think you know that already!  I enjoyed reading your blog and hope it's ok with you that I share it with my friends here.  I especially liked the story of how you ate Emily's cupcake.  I can't resist cupcakes either. 

Emily, thanks for sharing your doxie's fun blog with me.  I loved it!  You can bring her with you to the shops anytime to say hello.  We love our four legged friends.

On a separate note,  I am having a great time reading everyones comments about the song lyrics.  It is fascinating to me to see what inspires others.  Plus, I am learning about a few groups that I was unfamiliar with and that is always fun. 

So keep the comments coming.  You might be the lucky winner.  You have until early on next Monday to think of it.  I know some of you (hi Jill) are having a hard time figuring out exactly what lyric you think is best....but I have faith that the right ones will find you before next Monday...Oct. 6th.

Look What Max Made

I really wanted to share this cool photo with you all.  Allison has been one of our awesome friends/customers since the first year we opened.  It has been so much fun to watch  her two kids growing up quickly before our eyes.  (they are sooo cute!)

Recently she purchased our Robot build a card set for her son Max to use  after his birthday party.  The set comes with lots of different robot parts as well as letters and words.  What you see here is what Max came up with himself.  Pretty cool huh?  Great job Max.  You rock.
